ARTHUR MOODEY SEELEY, [Northampton], son of Rev. Pres. L. Clark and Henrietta (Chapin) Seelye, LL. D., was born in Amherst, Nov. 19, 1870; fitted for college at High School, Northampton. Tea., Adelphi Acad., Brooklyn, N. Y., '92 — '94; Student, Eng. Lit., Harvard Univ., '94 — '95. On an excursion to Mt. Tom, in the Easter vacation, he fell from one of the cliffs of the mountain and was instantly killed, April 15, 1895.
