Marietta E. Becker

Marietta E. Becker, 52 of Colorado Springs passed away September 26, 2004.

She is preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Van DeWalker, 2003. Marietta is survived by her children, Joshua Burton Seeley and Belinda (Scott) Ball, of Colorado Springs; parents, Olen and Vivian Seeley, Jr.; sisters, Toni Ramacus, Coni Wilson, Linda Seeley, Deborah (David) Crabtree; brothers, David and Robert Seeley; special niece and nephew or as Marietta would have said, "her children," Marissa and Christopher Crabtree.

Marietta was a resident of Sunnyrest Health Care Facility for the past four years, where she embraced many new friendships. She soon referred to her new friends as family. She was a certified EMT in Syracuse, NY and also worked for the Liverpool School District for 11 years. She enjoyed arts and crafts, but most of all enjoyed time with family.

Marietta leaves behind a legacy of strength, dignity, the importance of family and faith, unconditional love, but most of all she reminded those around her how precious life is and that you must learn to forgive and enjoy every moment.

Memorial service, 1:00 p.m., today, Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Funeral Home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of Marietta E. Becker to the "Becker Trust Fund," which has been set up to help the children she leaves behind.
