Dorris Evelyn Bourquein

Dorris Eveyln (nee Seeley) Bourquein passed away on December 22, 2012, at Dearborn County Hospital.

She was born on August 24, 1929, to the late Forrest and Ruth (nee Ashley) Seeley. Dorris graduated from Whitewater High School.

Survivors include her children, Stephen (Micah) Bourquein, Brenda (Dann) Berry and Diane Stroud; several grandchildren; great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Linda Graves.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Geraldine Seeley; her sisters, Lillian Johnson, Shirley Ripperger and Sharon Clark; and one brother, Edward Seeley.

A memorial service was conducted at Brater Funeral Home, Harrison, Ohio. Memorials may be made to Warm the Children.

Dorris Eveyln (nee Seeley) Bourgquein, passed away on Dec. 22, 2012 at Dearborn County Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 24, 1929 to the late Forrest and Ruth (nee Ashley) Seeley. Dorris graduated from Whitewater High School. She worked for many years in the office at Ace Doran Hauling and Trucking and never retired from working. When she stopped working full time she spent most of her time Volunteering for local organizations. She enjoyed volunteering for the Warm the Children program in Lawrenceburg. Dorris enjoyed working in her yard, feeding and watching the birds.

Survivors include her children: Stephen (Micah) Bourquein, Brenda (Dann) Berry, and Diane Stroud; wonderful grandchildren: Cameron Bourquein, David (Tammy) and Bryan (Katina) Sawyers, Billie (Chris) Newton, Wyndrum (Eugene) Stacey and Kayly Berry; great grandchildren: Brianna, Samual and Jennifer Sawyers, Alexander, Danielle, Jennifer, and Charles Newton and Memphis Stacey; great great grandchild: River Marie Mae; Sister Linda Graves; Nieces & Nephews: Brian & Aaron Ripperger, Regina & Amber Clark, Jason & Michael Graves.

Preceded in death by her parents, step-mother Geraldine Seeley, Sisters: Lillian Johnson, Shirley Ripperger, Sharon Clark; brother: Edward Seeley and nephew Clifford Seeley.

Gathering of friends will be held from 6:30 PM until the time of the Memorial service at 7:30 PM at Brater Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison OH 45030.

Memorials may be made to Warm the Children by making a check out to the organization and bringing it to the visitation or the service and giving it to a funeral home representative. If you are unable to attend the services then mail your donation to the funeral home. They will notify the family of your donation and make sure the money gets sent to the charity.
