Georgia G. Bruner

Georgia G. Bruner, 81, of 6130 Lyndale Ave. S, Minneapolis, Minn., died Monday, May 20, 2002, in Walker-South View Nursing Home, Minnesota. Born March 20, 1921, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Daniel and Lottie Bell Heffernan Seely. Mrs. Bruner was a machine extruder for Franklin Plastics. She was married Sept. 28, 1940, to James A. Bruner, who preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Robert L. Bruner of Aubrey, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Lindsay (Joyce) Goetzke of Eagan, Minn., Nancy Bruner of Monroe, Va., and Mrs. Carl (Linda) Merat of Lynchburg, Va.; seven grandchildren, Charles Thomas and Nancy Thomas, both of Baltimore, Md., Brad Bruner of Irving, Texas, Christopher Goetzke of Roseville, Minn., Elijah Merat of Newport News, Va., and Hanna Merat-Collins and Joses Merat, both of Lynchburg, Va.; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bruner was preceded in death by three brothers, Clair Seely, John Seely and Daniel Seely; and a sister, Sylvia Cotterman.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dale Adams of Cooperstown Community Church, officiating. Interment will be in Peters Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
