Mrs. Hilda R. Clifford
BENTON – Mrs. Hilda R. Clifford, 49, died at a Waterville hospital May 4, 1978, after a long illness. She was born Jan. 5, 1929, in Fort Fairfield, daughter of Ralph and Eva (Hockenhull) Seeley. She married George Clifford on Sept 2, 1949. They had lived in Benton for many years. Survivors, besides her mother and husband in Benton, are one son, Dennis of Benton; two daughters, Mrs. Kathy Buck of Clinton, and Mrs. Brenda MacArthur of Belgrade; one brother, Roland Seeley of Benton; one sister, Mrs. Malcolm (Mary) Page of Benton; three grandchildren; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was active in the Methodist Church in Fairfield. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Redington Funeral Home, 2 Pleasant St., Clinton. Friends may make donations in her memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Association, 694 Main St., Westbrook, Maine.
