Dorothy D. Dalri
(September 11, 1924 - April 2, 2013)
Dorothy D. Dalri, 88, of Pittsburg, passed away at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Via Christi Hospital. She was born September 11, 1924 at Franklin, Kansas, the daughter of Frank L. and Bertha (Scheffer) Seely. She graduated from Mindenmines High School in 1943. On October 19, 1942, she was united in marriage to Max Dalri at Lamar, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2001. Mrs. Dalri was a homemaker and later worked for Ramsey’s Department Store. Membership was held in the Christian Church and she was a member of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Morey of Pittsburg, KS; a grandson Shawn Morey and his wife Jenifer of Pittsburg, KS; a granddaughter Patricia Norris of Pittsburg, KS; a sister Gerri Louderback of Nixa, MO; 3 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son Michael F Dalri, a sister Mildred Witt, and a nephew Joe Witt. A service for Mrs. Dalri will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday (April 5) at Brenner Mortuary, Pittsburg, with Rev. Jim Sukraw officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until service time, at the Brenner Mortuary. The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society and/or the Pittsburg YMCA.
