Lillian L. Seeley DeJohn, age 95, of Harrison passed away on May 20, 2005. Lillian was born the daughter of Richard G. and Anna (Simkims) Seeley on August 24, 1909 in Antrim County, Michigan. Mrs. DeJohn was a member of many organizations such as Daughters of the American Revolution, Eastern Star Mothers, Oriental Shrine, Daughters of the Nile, American Legion Auxiliary Post 404 and the Woman's Circle at the First Congregational Church. Surviving are one sister, Marion Hileman and husband, William of Harrison; one brother, Melvin Hileman and his wife, Shirley of Chesaning and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Lillian in death were her first husband, Sam Alkire in 1970; her second husband, Emil DeJohn in 1998; her parents and two sisters, Clarissa Cowie and Grace Wells. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from First Congregational Church, 211 Spruce St., Harrison, Michigan. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Stocking Funeral Home, 165 Oak Street, Harrison. Memorial contributions may be considered to Eastern Star Mothers or Daughters of the American Revolution.
