Sharon J. Seeley Draper

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 4, 2004 at Church Of Jesus Christ Latter- Day Saints, Sioux Falls, SD. Visitation will begin Friday December 3, 2004 at George Boom Funeral Home with family present to greet friends from 7-8PM.

Sharon was born to Barbara and Richard Seeley on Oct. 26th 1958 at March AFB in Riverside, CA.

Demonstrating the self-reliance, inner-strength and courage that everyone who knew her loved her as she put herself through college graduating with honors. Upon graduation, Sharon began a career as an aide to Senator Larry Pressler and often recalled it as one of the best times of her life, "Being paid to help her fellow South Dakotans". In 1990 Sharon's life was forever change on a church event bus trip when she met and fell in love with fellow passenger and soul mate, Randy Draper. Sharon and Randy were married not long after and it is a love affair that will never end. For the last 13 years Sharon and Randy have lived in several cities and states pursuing both of their careers. But also maintaining contact with her loved ones, while also creating an ever-widening circle of friends.

Sharon's passing is a loss to many but they would all agree that she enriched their lives.

Sharon is survived by her beloved husband, Randy, two stepdaughters Johanna and Patricia Draper; mother, Barbara (Seeley) Hurley, her siblings, Cynthia (Rick) Maddux, Lynn (David) Sabie, Richard (Lisa) Seeley, Sandy (Brad Weigel) Dezeeuw; and many nieces and nephews who adored her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her inspiring father, Richard Seeley, her much loved sister, Karen Seeley and her wonderful step-father, Harold Hurley.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family for lunch and fellowship at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints following the Funeral Service.
