Norma Jean Dudley

ULYSSES — Norma Jean Dudley, 69, of Ulysses, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at her home in Ulysses.

She was born March 9, 1943, to Walter and Doris Marie Seeley in Englewood, Colo.

On June 8, 1966, she married Richard D. Dudley in Las Vegas, Nev. The couple moved to Ulysses in August 1972. They purchased and operated the Ulysses Movie Theatre and Drive-In and also ran Shelly's Restaurant.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Tina Rader; and sister, Sharon Bennett.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Terri Lynn Ryles of Tiger, Ga., Laurie Walta of Caldwell and Linda Velasquez of Ulysses; three brothers, Larry Seeley of Englewood, Jerry Seeley of Billings, Mont., and Richard Banes of Ulysses; two sisters, Elaine Kuhn and Donna Snyder, both of Englewood; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses. Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
