Diane Seely Fisher, age 58, passed away in her home after a 7-week battle with cancer. She was surrounded at the time by her loving family of whom she was very proud.
Diane is preceded in death by her mother Nancy Seely and infant son Steven Michael Fisher. She is survived by 2 daughters and 3 sons: Melissa Prestwich (Russell), Jeffrey Fisher, John Fisher (Katty), Travis Fisher (Crystal), and Melanie Fisher. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, her father Grant Seely, brother Steven Seely (Roxanne) and sisters Sheri Jensen (Robert) and Brenda Seely. Dianes family was the love of her life. She made life fun and taught her children to be responsible and charitable. She will be greatly missed by family and friends but memories of her and her life of generosity and love will remain forever etched upon the hearts of all who knew her.
Diane was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various callings throughout her lifetime. She had a particular passion for temple work and helped many young men earn their Eagle Scout awards.
A funeral for Diane will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013, at 1:00 pm at the LDS Church located at 150 East 600 North in Orem, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at the church. Her final resting place will be in Milford, Utah. Burial services to be held Sunday, November 17, 2013, at 2:30 pm.
