Eleanor S. Frantz
CLARKSVILLE, Va. - Eleanor Seelye Frantz, 90, of 189 Bear Track Trail, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, N.C. Born on January 5, 1916, in Elmira, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Walter Seelye and Mary Ann Dunn Seelye, and was the widow of John Richard Frantz.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Townsville, N.C., and the Bessie King Circle.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. today at Tabernacle United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dede Britt. Burial will follow at a later date.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Bentley, of Rochester, N.Y.; five grandsons; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Norman T. Seelye of Rochester, N.Y.; and a sister, Alice S. Colegrove, of Lawrenceville, Pa.
The family will receive friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall of Tabernacle United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, c/o Sylvia Anderson, P.O. Box 100, Townsville, NC 27584.
