WELLSVILLE – Etta M. Geer, 69, died Saturday (July 3, 1993) at Jones Memorial Hospital.
Born April 17, 1924 in Whitesville, a daughter of Lewis and Flora Swort Seeley, in Wellsville, she married Raymond S. Geer, who died in 1978.
She was a former employee of Black and Decker in Wellsville, and St. Francis Hospital in Olean.
She had attended Trinity Lutheran Church, and was a member of the Scio Sunshine Club and the Frank B. Church V.F.W. Post 2530 Auxiliary in Wellsville.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Alan (Joyce) Jeffery of Vestal; and a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Brenda Campbell of Wellsville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Geraldine) Coots of Bath; one brother, Louis Seeley of Addison; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the J.W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today. Pastor Daniel Johnson of the Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville.
Memorials may be made to the Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps to to a charity of the donor’s choice.
