Carolyn Kay Goodson, of Midland, died Tuesday, Oct. 31. She was born April 30, 1938 to George W. Seely and Carrie R. Jones Seely in Anadarko, Okla. On Nov. 14, 1953, Carolyn married Billy Goodson in Anadarko. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Hugh L. and Carl Seely, and sister, Lela Smith. She is survived by her husband, Billy Goodson of Midland; daughters, Paula Maddox of Midland; Karen Butts of Midland; sons, Leslie Goodson of Midland; Wesley Goodson of Midland; brother, Leon Seely of Plainview; sisters, Lavada New of Crowley; Virgie Turner of Bixby, Okla.; and Pauline Lee of Anadarko, Okla.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren . Services have been scheduled for 3 p.m. today, Nov. 4, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park-North.
