GOODWIN, Patricia J. – Of Grand Blanc, age 73, died Thursday, April 29, 2004, at Genesys Convalescent Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM Monday, May 3, 2004 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 South Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc, Father James Swiat officiating. Entombment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions American Lung Association. Visitation 1-4 and 6-8PM Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A rosary will be prayed at 3:30PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Goodwin was born in Flint, Michigan on October 23, 1930 and was a lifelong area resident. She married John D. Goodwin, Jr. on June 30, 1951. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Telephone Pioneers Association. Mrs. Goodwin was employed by Michigan Bell for 30 years as a telephone operator. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma and sister. Survived by her husband, John D. Goodwin, Jr.; children, John D. Goodwin III and wife Karen, Stephen E. Goodwin, Phillip A. Goodwin, Eric L. Goodwin and wife Kathleen and Mark A. Goodwin; grandchildren, Becky, Bill, Sarah, John, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Allison; brothers, Jim and Jack Seeley; sisters, Joan Mick, Theresa Jorgensen, Phyllis Nash, Katherine Beach; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jennie Seeley and sister, Carol Rose Koziol.
