Mary Fern Greer
GLASGOW — Mary Fern Greer, 80, of Glasgow died June 20, 2008, at a hospice in Madison, Tenn.
The Manito, Ill., native was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was a daughter of the late Jonathan Virgil Seely and Golda Thomas Seely Hayward and wife of the late Marvin Wilson Greer. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Faye Lee; a stepdaughter, Ruth Bunting; her stepfather, Jewell Hayward; and five brothers, Charles, Loren, Harold, Robert and Virgil Seely.
Funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation begins at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Bethel United Methodist Church, 4564 Burkesville Road, Glasgow, KY 42141; or Skyline Madison Campus Hospice, 500 Hospital Drive, Madison, TN 37115.
Survivors include a daughter, Gail Greer Iliffe and her husband, Dave, of Glasgow; a stepson, Richard Lee and his wife, Sandy, of Iowa; two granddaughters, Stephanie Rigsby of Fairfield, Calif., and Megan Rigsby of Glasgow; six step-grandchildren; several great-stepgrandchildren; and two sisters, Goldie Brush of Galesburg, Ill., and Shirley Berfield of Pekin, Ill.
