Helen S. Haas, 92, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
She was born Aug. 27, 1916 in Scioto County, the daughter of Roscoe Seely and Ablene (Davis) Seely.
She retired in 1983 from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and was a graduate of Bainbridge High School Class of 1936. She is survived by two sisters, Mildred Knisley of Lancaster and Marlene (Wayne) Combs of Greenfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Haas, who died Nov. 1968; six brothers, Ralph, Carl, Wayne, Richard, Howard and Ray; one sister, Hazel Carr; and both parents.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with the Rev. Scott Combs officiating. Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 28 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral hom.
