Corene Seely Hansen Hollingsworth

Corene Seely Hansen Hollingsworth, age 90, passed away February 3, 1997 at a local care center.

Born August 9, 1906 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to R. Bruce and Pauline Hafen Seely. Married Merle Hansen on August 18, 1925 in Nephi, Utah, marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 1954. Married Lloyd Hollingsworth on August 1, 1958 in Elko, Nevada. He also preceded her in death on May 13, 1961.

She was a member of the LDS Church, served in the Relief Society in her earlier years. Worked as manager of Hollywood Maxwell, Inc., also a partner in Hillcrest Fabrics. Employed by Frank's Garden Center & Floral, The Green Thumb and Copperview School. She retired at the age of 82.

Survived by daughters, Lois Draper (Glen); Phyllis Holt (Frank); stepchildren, Elaine Warrick (Oliver); Norma Walters (Cecil); Lloyd Alfred Hollingsworth; 12 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lizetta Bush; Gwen Stewart. Preceded in death by son, Dean Jay Hansen; four brothers, Que, Paul, Hale, Boyd; three sisters, Charlotte, Carma and Iona, a special sister and best friend; also stepchildren, Beth Baldwin and Irene Carpenter.

Funeral services Sat. 11 a.m., February 8, 1997 at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, where friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Sat. from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Sat., 2 p.m. following services.
