Judith Maxine (Seeley) Haring, 93, died March 13, 2009.
Maxine was born October 16, 1915 to Lena and Mark Seeley. She was married to the love of her life, Edwin G. Haring, who preceded her in death on June 4, 1997 after 60 years of marriage.
Maxine was preceded in death by brothers, Lavelle, Maynard and Richard Carlton, and sister, Zilda Dorland. She is survived by sisters, Jean Musolf, Jan Albrecht, Nita (John) Dohanyas, Bev (Chuck) Hoyt and brother Ted (Loretta) Carlton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Maxine had been a substitute rural mail carrier and custodian of the York Twp. Town Hall, as well as a member of the York Twp. Historical Society, but the greatest joy in her life was a devoted housewife and partner to her husband Edwin, and mother to her only son, Rollie, who survives her along with his wife Margie; in addition, she is survived by granddaughters, Bonnie Coombes (Dave Jurcich), Tracy (Randy) Read, Debbie (Jim) Steffas, Cathy (Rich) Krska, and Sarah Lucas; great-grandchildren, Chad Coombes, Adam, Darrin and Danielle Read, Matthew, Steven and Nathan Steffas and Colton, Logan and Brock Krska.
The family would like to thank the staff at Summerville at Camelot Place in Medina for their loving care and support, also the staff at the Inn of Medina and Medina County Hospice.
Services Monday, 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1377 Lester Road, Valley City where Maxine was a member. Officiating Rev. Dennis Murawski. Burial at York Twp. Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Waite and Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the church.
