Hemingway—At Nashville, Iowa, at half-past 11 p.m., Thursday, April 7th, 1881, Mary Hemingway, aged 71 years, 1 month and 13 days.
Deceased was the widow of John Hemingway and was born in Whitby, Canada West, and came to Nashville in 1845, where she has resided until her death, as above. She leaves a large number of children and grand-children to mourn her loss.

Hemingway—At Nashville, Lee county, Iowa, Thursday, April 7th, 1881, at 11:30 o'clock p.m. Mrs. Mary Hemingway, aged 71 years, 1 month and 13 days.
She was born at Whitby, Canada West, and came to Nashville in 1845, where she resided until her death. She was the widow of John Hemingway who died February 4th, 1877. She leaves three children and several grandchildren to mourn the loss of a long and wellspent life.
