Dorothy Ann Hess, 69, of 12 Oak St., died at noon, Tuesday, at her home after an extended illness. Born Aug. 12, 1917 in Westover, PA, she was the daughter of Owen E. and Jennie T. (Angerer) Seeley.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Prebyterian Church. She was a former member of Rizpah Chapter No. 153 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the mothers club C.C.L. II.
She attended Wittenburg College and The Ohio State University.
Surviving are her husband J. Lloyd Hess, whom she married, May 16, 1941; one daughter: Mrs. Michael (Sue) Weber of Columbus, IN; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the First Prebyterian Church with her pastor, Rev. James L. Smith, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Turner Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Chruch Memorial Fund and left at the funeral home.
