PHILOMA HOGANCAMP CRAFT VENDOR

Philoma Mae "Peggy" Hogancamp, 79, formerly of 20750 Route 180, Sackets Harbor, died Saturday at Samaritan Keep Home, where she had resided for the past four years.

Mrs. Hogancamp worked as a restaurant and banquet manager in Elmira and Rochester. She was also a seamstress and worked as a craft vendor, attending many craft shows throughout the state.

Born Sept. 25, 1921, in Millerton, Pa., daughter of Tylee and Flossie Purvis Seely, she graduated from Millerton High School in 1939. She married Richard Hogancamp in Maryland. The couple resided in Millerton. The marriage ended in divorce.

In the early 1990s Mrs. Hogancamp moved to Sackets Harbor to live with her son James T. "Ted" Hogancamp and his wife, Ernestine, and later moved to Samaritan Keep Home.

Surviving besides her son James. are another son and his wife, David R. and Sandra Hogancamp, Pine City; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra L. "Suz" and Irv Rivers, Rochester, and Patricia A. Brant, Sebring, Fla.; two brothers, James T. Seely, Schenectady, and John A. Seely, Elmira, 11 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hart & Bruce Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Gmitter, pastor of Faith Fellowship Church, Dexter, officiating. Burial will be at the family's convenience in Alder Run Cemetery, Millerton.

Calling hours will be 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
