Betty Jean Hollabaugh

Betty Jean Hollabaugh, 80, formerly of Cochranton, and a resident of Golden Living Center in Meadville, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at the home.

Born April 17, 1927, in Rocky Grove, she was the daughter of Walter G. and Cora H. Miller Seeley. She married Raymond O. (Duke) Hollabaugh July 19, 1947; he preceded her in death March 22, 1990.

She had worked at the former Keystone Ordnance, then at H.L. Moore Co. in Cochranton for 47 years.

She was a member of Deckards United Methodist Church and taught Sunday school at the church for 23 years.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary Seeley of Frenchtown and Charlsie Seeley of Cochranton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gaylord Seeley and Clarence (Bim) Seeley; and a very close friend, Herb (Hub) Smith.

Friends may call at Dickson Family Funeral Home Inc. 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton, Friday from 1 until 3 p.m. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday from the funeral home, with the Rev. Blair Smith of Asera Care Hospice officiating.

Interment will be in Peters Cemetery, Venango County.
