Grace S. Johnson

JOHNSON – Grace S. Johnson, 77, rural Kingston, formerly of Loves Park, died late Sunday, Sept. 24, 1989, in Alms Nelson Manor. Born May 2, 1912, in Flagg Center, daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth Ann Harris Seeley. Married Lester J. Johnson in Rockton, Dec. 31, 1966. She was area distributor of Rawleigh Products until three years ago. Member Salem Lutheran Church, Sycamore. Executive of Northern Illinois Steam Power Club. Graduated from Rochelle High School and Amarillo (Texas) Business College. Survivors include her husband, Lester, rural Kingston, daughter, Nancy Calvin, Houston, Texas; son, Dennis Bryan, McFarland, Calif.; stepdaughter, Marilyn Ingram, Sycamore; two stepsons, Delbert Johnson, Phoenix, Ariz, and Donald Johnson, Sycamore; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents, brother, Charles Seeley, and sister, Clara Elizabeth Seeley.

Services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, in Salem Lutheran Church, Sycamore, with Pastor Gary Ryden officiating. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Quiram-Sycamore Funeral Home, 1245 Somanauk St., Sycamore, where friends may call from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial fund established at the funeral home.
