Ula Liona Seely Johnson

JOHNSON, Ula Liona Seely, 83, a resident of Manor Oak Nursing Home in Jamestown, N.Y., and formerly of Youngsville, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 1994, at WCA Hospital in Jamestown.

Born Sept. 5, 1910, in Cherrytree Township in Venango County, she was the daughter of the late Eri Burl and Pearl Morehead Seely. She was a member of the Youngeville Senior Citizens. She was married on Aug. 8, 1954, to Warren Mead Johnson, who preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1979. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bertenia Anderson and Luella Gilson; a half-sister, Goldie Beardsley; and two half-sisters (sic), Arthur Seely and Ernest Seely.

Surviving is a son, Benny Watson of Warren; a granddaughter, Mrs. Linda Jandrew of Mayville, N.Y.; four step-children, Warren Maynard Johnson of Pittsburgh, Howard E. Johnson of Jamestown, N.Y., Mrs. Daniel (Joyce) Kaelin of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Kenneth (Arbutus) Drum of Warren; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Stufflebeam, Mrs. Bessie Cornell and Mrs. Ila Moronski, all of Titusville; a foster brother, Kenneth Brewster of Springfield, Va.; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the McKinney Funeral Home in Youngsville from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today where a funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. F. Eugene Donelson, retired United Methodist minister of Youngsville officiating. Interment will be in Youngsville Cemetery.
