KEELY (Seeley) Doris I. Keely, aged 74, passed away at her home on Tuesday evening, March 18, 2003 in the presence of her family. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She and Leon often spent time together fishing and she loved planting and taking care of her flowers. She will be missed by all who knew her. Doris is survived by her husband of 54 years, Leon Keely; her children, Patsy VanDyken of Lake City, MI, Michael and Teresa Keely of LasVegas, NV, Diane Keely of Grand Rapids, Donald Keely of Kentwood, Melvin and Jude Keely, Calvin and Denise Keely all of Grand Rapids; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; her brother Raymond (Betty) Seeley of Holt, MI, her sisters, Dorothy Mosher, and Gladys (John) Pardee, all of Lake City, MI; her sister-in-law, Lucy Seeley; many nieces, nephews and friends. Doris was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Seeley; and her sister, Ruth Shivley. The funeral service will be held at Alt and Shawmut Hills Chapel, 2120 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, 49504 on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet her family at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice of Holland Home.
