Kerrigan - Deniza Jane Kerrigan, 1714 Montana, age 78, died Monday, October 1, 1962, at the residence. Funeral services will be held at 9 am Thursday, Oct. 4, 1962, from St Mary Catholic Church, 2500 N. Franklin Ave., Rev. Fr. Henry W. Berkemeier officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peck, Michigan. Mrs. Kerrigan will lie in state at Groves and Co. Memorial Chapel, Garland at Third Ave. Parish. Rosary will be recited at 7 this evening. Death was due to complications following a sudden illness. Mrs. Kerrigan was born in Forest Township, Genesee County, Michigan, on Feb. 1, 1884, the daughter of Eugene and Casander Seeley, and resided in Flint and Genesee Co. her entire life. Mrs. Kerrigan married Phillip Kerrigan at Flint, Michigan, on January 11, 1914. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Society. Surviving are : Son, Henry D. of Flint, step son: Harry Kerrigan of West Branch; stepdaughter, Evelyn Canfield of Flint; 6 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Angeline Warren of Flint, Mrs. Claude Miller of St Joseph, Michigan, and Mrs. Sophronie Thatcher of Fostoria; several nieces and nephews.
