HILLVIEW - Glenna S. Killebrew, age 69, of Hillview died Thursday at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born July 4, 1939, in White Hall, the daughter of Glen and Lilly F. Coates Seely. She married Bob A. Killebrew on April 24, 1959, in Hillview and he preceded her in death December 7, 2008.

She survived by two sons, Kilby (wife, Rhonda) Killebrew of Hillview and Kevin (wife, Sara) Killebrew of Greenview; three grandchildren, Kyle (wife, Emily) Killebrew of Springfield, Kollin Killebrew, deployed on the USS John C. Stennis in the Pacific, and Brooke (husband, Mike) Newingham of Manchester; and a great-grandson, Mason Turner Newingham. There are four sisters surviving, Betty (husband, Wayne) Olmscheid of Astoria, Oregon, Bonnie (husband, Donnie) Strowmatt of White Hall, Becky Jane (husband, Danny) Cotter of Hillview, and Penny Jo (husband, Ethan) Cox of White Hall; and a close friend of the family and caretaker, Ray Stice of Winchester, also survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathy Jo Killebrew; and a sister, Peggy Seely.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall, with burial in Pine Tree Cemetery at Patterson. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the White Hall First Responders Unit or to the Hillview Baptist Church.
