Knutson, Sonya L. "Sunny" Born October 4, 1936 in Cottage Grove, WI, Sonya "Sunny" L. Knutson gracefully passed into the arms of our Lord on September 1, 2006 in Orlando, FL at the age of 69 after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.

Sunny was a graduate of West Allis Central High School. She became a dedicated and gifted musician, guitar teacher and volunteer, living in West Allis and Pewaukee, WI and most recently in St. Petersburg, FL. Her volunteer efforts served the Lutheran Social Services helpline, the St. Petersburg police department and hours and hours of musical entertainment for nursing home residents and community events. "Sunny" was always the life of the party and lived up to her bright and cheery name. The music she made will forever play in our hearts.

Preceded in death by her mother Charlotte Duckert Seelye, former husband Orville C. Knutson and dear friend Raymond Reiter.

She is survived by daughter Kristi Knutson and her son James P. Knutson; by daughter Karrie Stemmler and her husband, Jay, their sons Jayson and Kris; and by daughter Kelly Kelly and her husband, Pat, and their sons Patrick and Jake. She is also survived by her sister Jackie Bushey and her husband Eugene and nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
