Mrs. Thelma M. Lapp

RED HOUSE – Mrs. Thelma M. Lapp, 50, of Allegany State Park, died early Thursday morning in Buffalo General Hospital following a long illness.

She was born July 2, 1925 in Batavia, daughter of the late Ray and Carrie Hubbard Seely.

She had lived in the park for 28 years. She had previously resided in the Wellsville area for many years.

Mrs. Lapp was manager of the Allegany State Park concessions at the Red House store.

She was married to Charles Lapp July 18, 1942 in Scio.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Linda) Horn, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Ronda Spencer, Toledo, Ohio, and Mrs. Larry (Charleen) Cox, Houston, Tex.; five grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Willis (Ruth) Johnson, Scio; two brothers, Kenneth Seely, Olean; and Duayne Seely, Hinsdale; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the O’Rourke and O’Rourke Funeral Home , 25 River St., Salamanca.

Funeral and committal services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Glenn Reed, pastor of the Red House Union Free Church. Burial will be in Green Cemetery, Great Valley.

FAMILY REQUEST – In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to the Leukemia Society of America, Inc., Western N.Y. Chapter 735, Ellicott Square Building, Buffalo.
