Clare E. Laub, 83, formerly of Allentown, died June 14 in her home at Village Green, Masonic Home of Elizabethtown, Lancaster County. She was married to Russell K. Laub for 61 years in April.
She was a receptionist for the former Allentown General Hospital for 21 years before retiring in 1983. Previously, she was a retail employee of the former Zollinger's department store, Allentown.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late George C. and Gudrun (Eva) Seely.
She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Allentown.
She was a former volunteer for Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, for 15 years.
Survivors: Husband; son, David A. of Wells, Maine; two grandchildren.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Stephens Funeral Home, 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown. Call 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
