PEKIN - Trudy June Lawson, 61, of Pekin passed away at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory, where visitation will be one hour before. Burial will be private.

PEKIN ~ Trudy June Lawson, 61 of Pekin passed away at 9 a.m. Monday December 24, 2012 at her home.
Born June 14, 1951 in Pekin to Edward and Norma (Hudson) Seelye, she married Ralph Lawson on May 23, 1969 in Pekin. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2010 in Pekin.
Also preceding her in death are her parents; one grandson, Michael Sturmer; one sister, Linda Conn and one niece, Phyllis Rodaway.
Surviving are three sons, Steve (Joanna) Lawson of Pekin, Ralph (Arlene) Lawson of Cottonwood, AZ, Mark (Kassie) Lawson of Pekin; one daughter, Tammy (Johnnie Williamson) Lawson of Pekin; eight grandchildren, Marie, Steven, Elizabeth, Desera and Tristan Lawson, Edward (Kara) Murray, Ashley Sturmer; two great grandchildren, Alexander Murray and Lucas Brackon and one brother, Richard (Brenda) Seelye of Spring Bay.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.
A homemaker, Trudy enjoyed watching her son and grandsons play softball and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Dwight Winnett will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will be private.
