Carolyn Seeley Lee

LAWNDALE - Carolyn Seeley Lee, 78, of 652 Hicks Hill Road, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Hospice Wendover. Born April 3, 1936, in Middlesex County, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Earlon LaForest Seeley and Marion Louise Campbell Seeley.

She was retired from Bellsouth in maintenance administration and also from Walmart. She was a member of Palm Tree United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lee loved to volunteer at the Senior Center in Shelby and was the Council on Aging Volunteer of the year in 2012.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Stevens; and two brothers, Bill Fisher and Walter Seeley.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph Benjamin Lee; two sons, Frank Stevens of Massachusetts and Gary Wayne Lee and wife Jennifer of Lawndale; two brothers, Asa Seeley and Earlon Seeley, both of Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Erika Lee and Benjamin Lee; and two step-grandchildren, Billy Marshall and Maggie Marshall.

Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the family life center of the church.

Funeral service: 11 a.m. Friday at Palm Tree United Methodist Church

Officiated by: The Revs. Cher Lu Vang and Doug Love

Burial: Will follow in the church cemetery.

Funeral home: Stamey Funeral Home of Fallston is serving the family.
