Dolores A. "Dolly" Lehmann

LEHMANN, DOLORES Dolores "Dolly" A. Lehmann, of Kentwood, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 11, 2014. The daughter of Harold and Edith (Panza) Seely, she was born on June 6, 1926 in Detroit, MI. Dolly raised her family in the Detroit area and retired with her husband, George Leroy Lehmann to Traverse City in 1983. She moved to Grand Rapids in 1994. Dolly loved to sing and music was always a joyful part of her life. She loved spending time with family and friends, watching University of Michigan football, reading, quilting and solving her daily crossword puzzles. Dolly leaves behind her four children, Chris (Shannon) Lehmann of Chapin, SC; Fritz (Sherry) Lehmann of North Olmstead, OH; Amy (Glen) Myers and Matt (Deb) Lehmann, both of Grand Rapids; sisters, Diane (Jim) Chaffin of Macomb, MI; Mary (Jim) Boyes of Beverly Hills, MI; and brother, Dennis (Vicky) Seely of Greeley, CO; 11 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her lifelong true love, husband, George, after 42 years of marriage, and brothers, Arthur Seely, Raymond Seely, Harold Seely, Ronald Seely, and Russell Seely. A Memorial Service is set for Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2700 E. Fulton, Grand Rapids. Visitation will be held at the church at 10 AM followed by memorial service at 11 AM. Rev. Robert Linstrom, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate.
