Pastor’s Widow Dies

Mrs. Lena Lugg, wife of the late Rev. E.R. Lugg of Cerro Gordo, died early yesterday in Evanston, according to Mrs. Fred Knorr, 440 North Pine street, a friend. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Simpson Funeral Home, Carrollton, with burial at White Hall. She had been living in Evanston with her step-son, Rev. T.B. Lugg, once pastor of the First Methodist church here.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lugg

Carrollton – Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Seely Lugg, who died Friday in the Wesley memorial Hospital, Evanston, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Simpson funeral home. Services were conducted by the Rev. John Lugg, Monmouth, assisted by the Rev. Marshall D. Ulm, pastor of the local Methodist Church. Burial was in White Hall cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Byland, A.A. Ruple, William Parker, John Carter, Irwin Hutchens, and George Schroeder.
