Cynthia A. Maddux (1957-2012)

CEDAR FALLS — Cynthia Ann Maddux, 54, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Oct. 1, at Gunderson Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, Wis.

She was born Oct. 23, 1957, in Holyoak, Mass., daughter of Richard and Barbara Barre Seeley. She married Edward Berg on April 1, 1978, and they later divorced. She then married Rick Maddux on March 30, 1985.

She graduated from Ogden High School. Mrs. Maddux worked in sales with Avon, was a homemaker and housekeeper.

Survived by: her husband; two sons, Dan (Kate) Berg and Brett (Emma Cimino) Maddux; two daughters, Audra (Craig) Ford and Brittany Maddux (fiance Chris Bruns); seven grandchildren, Doug, Paul and Jack Berg and Nichole, Dustin, Erin and Kacie Ford; two sisters, Lynn Sabie and Sandra (Steve) Haase; a brother, Richard (Lisa) Seeley; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: her parents; stepfather, Harold Hurley; two sisters, Sharon Draper and Karen Orke; and a brother-in-law, David Sabie.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John American Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls.
