MARGARET MARTIN

Margaret Marie Seeley Martin, a resident of Tidioute Towers, Tidioute, died Thursday morning, August 19, 2010 at the Titusville Area Hospital.

She was born in Petroleum Center, PA, a daughter of the late Ernest and Emma Mott Seeley and had been a Tidioute Area resident most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had owned and operated the former Blue & White Restaurant in Tidioute, and later, Martins Diner on route 62, North of Tidioute. She enjoyed playing Bingo, collecting antique dishes, the Friday Evening Movies at Tidioute Towers, traveling, and bus trips to Salamanca, NY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Westley Martin, three children: Patricia Jamieson, John Martin and Richard Martin, a son-in-law, James Williams, three sisters: Sadie Shrout, Hazel Foley, an infant Mary Seeley and a brother, Arthur Seeley.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Dorothy) Carnahan, East Hickory, PA, Twila Williams, Tidioute, PA, a brother, Charles Seeley, Orlando, FL and a Daughter-in-law, Gail Martin, Tidioute, PA.

She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 33 greatgrandchildren, and 14 great-greatgrandchildren.

Friends will be received at the James M. Higgins Funeral Home, 3 Elm Street, Tidioute, Saturday afternoon, August 21st from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. when a service will be conducted in the Funeral Home by Rev. Ralph Culp, Pastor of the Sanford and Grand Valley United Methodist Churches.

Private interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
