Marjorie Jean McClary

Marjorie Jean McClary, age 71, of the Bosstown area of Richland County, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 30, 2004.

She was born January 16, 1933 in Trempeleau, the daughter of Cloyd LeRoy and Florence Myrtle (Rood) Seeley. Marjorie married Julian Ray Rogness on July 29, 1950. She later married Charles McClary on November 14, 1969 in Rockford, Illinois. She enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, birds, genealogy, gardening, crocheting, ceramics and most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband Charles McClary of Bosstown; her children, Ray (Eleanor) Rogness of New Berlin, Douglas (Sharon) Rogness of Waukesha, Jean Lisney of Richland Center, Cheryl (Rudy) Nigl of Stoddard, Terry McClary of Kenosha, Pamela (Mike) Harris of Viroqua, Charles II (Maria) McClary of Streamwood, Illinois and Kelle McClary of Richland Center; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews.

Marjorie Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Frances Hackett; niece Joan Hackett; and an infant niece and nephew.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 4, 2004 at the Five Points Lutheran Church, rural Blue River. Pastor Larry Engel officiated. Burial was in the Basswood Cemetery. Family and friends called at the Pratt Memorial Chapel in Richland Center on Friday evening and at the church on Saturday morning before the time of the service. The Pratt Funeral Service assisted the family with their arrangements.
