Judith E. Meillier

ROCHESTER — The funeral for Judith E. Meillier will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Macken Colonial Chapel in Rochester, with the Rev. Thomas Loomis officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Meillier, 66, of Rochester, died Thursday (Jan. 3, 2008) at Saint Marys Hospital.

Judith Eleanor Seeley was born March 2, 1941, in Queens, N.Y. She married Larry Hengeveld on June 2, 1962. They were later divorced. On Oct. 11, 2000, she married Bernard “Barney" Meillier; he preceded her in death on Aug. 29, 2004. Mrs. Meillier had resided in Rochester for the past 12 years, and lived in the New York area prior to that. She was a homemaker and a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Rochester. She enjoyed corresponding with family and friends.

She is survived by a son, Christopher (Sandra) Hengeveld of Dallastown, Pa.; a daughter, Jennifer (Jonathan) Wilner of Edison, N.J.; and a brother, Robert (Martha) Seeley of Zumbrota. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Alexis Wilner and Alexandra Hengeveld.

Friends may call one half-hour before the service at Macken Funeral Home.

Memorials are preferred to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
