Thelma K Mellin, 65, of Erie, died unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, May 7, 2009. She was born April 24, 1944, in Titusville, a daughter of the late Bernard and Amelia Morris. Thelma was one of 22 siblings. She had resided in Erie for most of her life. She was a devoted homemaker who loved caring for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thelma was an avid bingo player who enjoyed playing at Holy Rosary, St Paul's and Mount Carmel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Postlethwait; her second husband, Charles Mellin; and one son, Kevin Postlethwait. Survivors include her beloved children, (a son and two daughters); 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and her sister and best friend, Marilyn Seeley of Erie. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc, 2607 Buffalo Rd. Private services will be conducted by the family. Interment, Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
