MIKNEVICH, Janice H. Seeley

Age 66, of Findlay Township, passed away peacefully at her home with her husband/best friend by her side on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, of complications from metastatic breast cancer. She was born in Pittsburgh on January 25, 1947, to the late Clinton and Olga Mae (McKissock) Seeley. Beloved wife for 27 years to Joseph P. Miknevich; loving mother of Daniel T. Gynn (Jamie); proud grandmother of Erica, Danica, Elijah and Jonah; cherished sister of Dr. Wayne, Gary and Clinton Seeley; beloved sister-in-law of Dr. Mary Ann Miknevich (Gregory Maloney). She was a faithful member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. She was manager of fixed asset accounting for Bayer Corporation. Previously she had worked 21 years for Calgon. She was a graduate of South Hills High School and obtained her B.A. in accounting from Robert Morris College. Janice had a genuine spirit of happiness, never complained, and was always looking toward the future. Her passions were her grandchildren, bicycling, and travel. Visitation Saturday and Sunday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. at COPELAND'S MOON TOWNSHIP, 981 Brodhead Rd., with prayer on Monday at 9:15 a.m. followed by funeral service at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 987 Beaver Grade Rd., Moon Township, PA 15108. Burial will follow in Sewickley Cemetery. Janice loved flowers and the family welcomes them, but the family also suggested donations in her name to Susan G. Komen (komenpittsburgh.org), 1133 S.
