Nina Mitchell

Nina Mitchell, 64, formerly of Buells Corners, died at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, in Beverly Health Care – Titusville, where she had lived since Oct. 16, 1998.

Mrs. Mitchell was born Dec. 22, 1932, in Warren County to the late Burton R. and Blanche Wright Seeley.

She married Alfred L. Mitchell on July 23, 1981, in Titusville. He died on Sept. 17, 1997. She was previously married to Merl L. Spencer and Glenn Halfast.

Mrs. Mitchell had attended Titusville schools.

She had gone to Midway Alliance Church, belonged to the Senior Citizens, and enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with her family.

Surviving are: three sons, Rodney Spencer of Indian Trails, N.C., Robert Spencer of Warren and Randy Spencer of Marienville; three grandchildren: and many nieces and nephews.

The following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Arthur (Marion) Paden of Grand Valley; Mrs. Fred (Daisey) Jones and Richard Seeley, both of Titusville, RD 2; Margaret Wakefield of Sugar Grove; Burton Seeley Jr. and Jack Seeley, both of Grand Valley, RD 1; Phyllis Keys, Mrs. Michael (Ann) Cartney, Mrs. Joseph (Charlotte) Gustafson, Mrs. Robert (Alta) Webber, Mrs. Steven (Shirley) Beers and Mrs. Richard (Alice) Jones, all of Titusville; Robert Seeley of Pleasantville; Mrs. Martin (Virginia) Hubert of Centerville; Donald Seeley of Spartansburg; Thelma Postalewait and Marilyn Seeley, both of Erie; Mrs. Harry (Gloria) Grow of Corry, and Herbert Seeley of Cooperstown, RD 1.

A brother, Harold E. Seeley, and a sister, Stella Millard, died previously.

No public calling hours will be observed. Friends may attend a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy Cotton, pastor of Midway Alliance Church officiating.

Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Centerville.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 201 N. Franklin Sr., Titusville, or the charity of one’s choice.
