ILA IRENE MORONSKI

Mrs. Ila Irene Moronski, 94, formerly of 313 N. 4 St., Titusville died at 9:16 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the Titusville Area Hospital. She had been a resident at Country Acres Personal Care Home in Titusville for the past 7 years.

Mrs. Moronski was born on November 21, 1919, in Moss Grove to the late E. Burl and Pearl Morehead Seely. She married John Moronski on October 10, 1936 at Eldred Twp. Mr. Moronski preceded her in death on October 24, 1987.

She attended schools in the Troy Center, Cutler and Trimms Corners area.

Mrs. Moronski was a homemaker and previously worked for 4 years at Ruhl Smith Electronics which later became Sylvania from 1950 to 1954.

She was a member of St. Titus Church in Titusville and a former member of St. John's Church in Tidioute. Over the years, she also belonged to friendly Neighbors of Sanford, Grand Valley Ladies Auxiliary, and the Newton Dinner Club and served as a Girl Scout leader.

Mrs. Moronski is survived by a foster brother, Kenneth Brewster of Part Low, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Louise Stuffelbeam, Ula Johnson, Luella Gilson, Bertena Anderson, and Bessie Cornell; 2 half brothers, Arthur Seely, Ernest Seely; and a halfsister, Goldie Beardsley.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM and on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM with the service to follow.

Interment will be in Sanford Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Valley Vol. Fire Department or to the Catholic Community of Titusville.
