GREENUP - Maxine Myers, 81, of Greenup, died at 1:40 p.m. Friday (July 15, 2005) at the Cumberland Nursing Center in Greenup.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup with the Rev. L. Wayne Mollohan officiating. Burial will be in the Aten Cemetery, rural Hidalgo. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was born Oct. 2, 1923, in Toledo, a daughter of Daniel and Lora Inez Oakley Seeley. She married Virgil LaVerle Myers in 1941; he died in 1978.
Survivors include sons, Todd Myers of Lerna and Tim Myers of Heartville; daughters, Linda Mollohan of Decatur and Sandra Sanders of Lincoln; sisters, Kathleen Garrett of Lincoln, Dorothy Fogle of Belleville, Rose Cutright of Ashmore, Betty Bland of Cisna, Carol Comer of Casey and Connie Parker of Greenup, Nancy Willoughby of Riverton and Karen Trigg of Toledo; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers, one sister and a grandchild.
