MRS. MARIAN NELSON

MORRISVILLE - Mrs. Marian Etta Nelson, 94, of Morrisville, died Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Hart of Perryville.

Born 1878 in Potter Brook, Pa., Mrs. Nelson made her home with her son, Marlon Ginney of Morrisville 10 years.

She was a former resident of Eaton, and was a member of the former Eaton Methodist Church. Mrs. Nelson married Patrick Ginney in 1898. He died in 1933. In 1939, Mrs. Nelson married Andrew Nelson who died in 1958.

Mrs. Nelson would have been 95 years old on May 26.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by 60 descendants. Surviving are three sons, Wilbur, Marlon and Melvin Ginney, all of Morrisville; two daughters, Mrs. Whitney Richards of Cazenovia and Mrs. Robert Hart of Perryville; a brother, Lloyd Colvin of Morrisville; 13 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one great-grandson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Charles D. Barker Funeral Home, Morrisville, the Rev. Burwell Ziegler, pastor of the Perryville Methodist Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Morrisville Cemetery.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
