MARION S. NEWBERRY (1927 - 2012)
Marion S. Newberry, 85, of 1171 Doan Road, Knoxville, passed away Nov. 3, 2012 at the Green Home, Wellsboro.
She was born June 17, 1927 in Knoxville, the daughter of Ralph and Harriet Preston Seeley.
She retired from Ingersoll-Rand, Painted Post, N.Y. and was a former employee of Electri-Cord and Elkland Area High School.
She is survived by sons, David "Jay" and Tina Newberry, Troupsburg, N.Y.; Dann and Maxine Newberry, Knoxville; best friend, Leroy Graff, Osceola; grandchildren, Preston Newberry, Norwich, N.Y.; Jarrid Newberry, Lancaster, N.Y.; Ardeth Newberry, Dansville, N.Y.; Nathaniel Newberry, Troupsburg, N.Y.; Jacob Newberry, Frewsberg, N.Y.; Shelly (Joseph) Krellner, Elkland; Daniel Newberry, Knoxville; great-grandchildren, 8; brother, Mark Seeley and Pat Colburn, Osceola; sisters, Helen Pratt, Knoxville; Marlene (Thomas) Palumbo, Waverly, N.Y.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Beverly, Gail Druetto; and a brother, Robert Seeley.
Friends were invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Elkland, Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m., where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Rev. Daryl Butler officiated.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Knoxville.
Memorial donations may be made to the Knoxville Public Library.
