OWEN, FLORENCE H., 80, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday (Aug. 3, 1995) at Seminole Hospital & Women's Center. Born in Syracuse, N.Y., she came here in 1974 from Liverpool, N.Y., and was a homemaker. She was a member of Liverpool United Methodist Church, and VFW Post 4364 Auxiliary and American Legion Post 104 Auxiliary, Pinellas Park. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Elmer D.; a son, Ronald, Fulton, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Bay Pines Funeral Home, St. Petersburg.

FLORENCE H. OWEN

Former Syracuse-area resident Florence H. Owen, 80, died Aug. 3 in a Seminole, Fla., hospital.

A native of Syracuse, Mrs. Owen lived in Liverpool until 1974 and was a resident of St. Petersburg, Fla., at the time of her death. She was a member of Liverpool Methodist Church and the auxiliaries of VFW Post 4364 and American Legion Post 104 in Pinellas Park, Fla.

Surviving are her husband, Elmer D.; a son, Ronald W. of Fulton; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.

Bay Pines Funeral Home, St. Petersburg, has charge of arrangements.
