MARIAN E. PADEN

Mrs. Marian E. Paden, 86, of Grand Valley, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning February 11, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Paden was born on January 26, 1926 at Titusville, PA, a daughter of the late Burton and Blanche Wright Seeley. She was married to Cyril Arthur Paden on May 6, 1961 at Centerville, PA. He preceded her in death on July 22, 2000. She was previously married to Truman Bingman.

Mrs. Paden had attended the former Enterprise School.

She was a member of the Newton Dinner Club and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family whether it was a family reunion or one of the many day trips together. She also enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and watching RFD TV.

Mrs. Paden is survived by the following children; Janet Moronski and her husband Richard of Grand Valley, Betsy Paden of Grand Valley, Tammy Sherwood and her husband Thomas of Spartansburg, Cyril A. Paden, Jr. and his wife Sarah of Grand Valley, Truman "Bub" Bingman and his wife Kathy of Titusville, Maxine Hetrick and her husband David of Corry, and Sharon Thompson and her husband Donald of Pleasantville; 19 grandchildren; 29 greatgrandchildren; one greatgreatgrandson; the following brothers and sisters, Margaret Wakefield of Titusville, Burton Seeley, Jr. of California, Jack Seeley of Grand Valley, Robert Seeley and wife Rita of Pleasantville, Richard Seeley and wife Kay of Titusville, Ann Cartney of Titusville, Charlotte Gustafson of Titusville, Alta Webber and husband Robert of Meadville, Virginia Hubert and husband Martin of Centerville, Donald Seeley and wife Peg of South Carolina, Marilyn Seeley of Erie, Shirley Beers and husband Steven of Titusville, Gloria Grow and husband Harry of Erie, Herbert Seeley of Cooperstown, and Alice Jones and husband Richard of Titusville; a brotherinlaw, Fred Jones of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marian was preceded in death by a son, William Bingman; a granddaughter, Holly Fenstermaker; a grandson, Ray Lee Bingman; a greatgranddaughter, Amanda Thompson; five sisters, Daisey Jones, Nina Mitchell, Phyllis Keyes, Thelma Postalewait, and Stella Millard; and a brother, Harold Seeley.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St. Titusville on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Further visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Rev. Ralph Culp, pastor of the Grand Valley United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Sanford Cemetery.

The family asks that memorials be made to the Grand Valley Volunteer Fire Dept. or to Hospice of Crawford County 310 N. Monroe St. Titusville, PA 16354.
