Dolly Ann Seeley Payne

GODLEY - Dolly Ann Seeley Payne left her hoome in Godley for her new home in Glory Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, where she was met by Jesus Christ her personal Savior.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery.

Dolly was the second daughter of C.C. Seeley and Freddie Woliver Seeley. She was born in Rosebud on the Seeley family farm. Dolly married her loving husband James "Jim" Payne. She lived in Haltom City from 1966 to 1990 when they moved to Godley. She taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for more than 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Shane in 1993.

Survivors: Husband, James Payne of Godley; daughter, Ann Muller and husband, Wayne, of Euless; sons, Clifford L. Payne and wife, Chris, of Granbury and Barry E. Payne and wife, Nita, of Godley; sisters, Betty Jo Troy of Fort Worth and Carla Nelson of Baytown; brother, Charlie Seeley of Georgia; mother-in-law, Mrs. Woodie Payne of Bloomfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
