Connie L. Penne

Connie L. Penne, 52, of Cape St. Claire, died Aug. 17 in Punxsutawney, Pa.

Mrs. Penne was born Jan. 5, 1956, in Punxsutawney to the late Francis and Anna Belle Neal Seeley. She graduated from Houghton College in New York.

She was the vice president of membership marketing with the National Business Aviation Association in Washington, D.C. Previously, she worked in publishing, advertising and marketing.

She was devoted to her family and supportive of her children's activities. She also enjoyed the beach, reading, writing and visiting family. She was the pianist for church services at Future Care Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Noah Penne; two brothers, James and Daniel Seeley; and two sisters, Joan Weaver and Lois Seeley.

Survivors include her husband, David Penne; two sons, Jonah and Luke Penne of Cape St. Claire; one daughter, Brooke Penne of Cape St. Claire; one brother, Gary Seeley of Philadelphia; and one sister, Debbie Beatty of Punxsutawney.

Funeral services and interment were in Punxsutawney. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 6 at College Parkway Baptist Church, 301 College Parkway in Arnold. A gathering will follow in the church fellowship hall.
