PHILLIPS, HELEN SEELEY - 91, died Jan 8, 2010. Beloved mother, grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 35. Preceded in death by dear husband Boyd. She loved reading, music, and the arts (and a good bridge game). Beginning as an 11-year-old pianist, she spent a lifetime serving in various capacities at her LDS Church and in the community. A gifted author of articles, stories, books, and poetry, she was past president of Colo. Authors' League, Denver NLAPW, Colo. Press Women. Survived by children Carol (Roy) Cox, Marcia (John) Leishman, Rick (Jackie) Phillips, Sidney (Bruce) Sauer, Dennis Phillips. She will be remembered fondly and missed deeply. Services 11AM Tuesday at LDS Church, 1939 E. Easter Ave.
